This custom-built car was disclosed as a “première” during the “Concorso d’Eleganza di Villa d’Este”, held in Cernobbio (Como-Italy), from April 25th to April 27th, 2003.
It is dedicated to the great Italian movie director Roberto Rossellini, a real Ferrari enthusiast. In fact, he ordered many coachbuilt Ferraris. Among them all many of us remember his famous 375 Mille Miglia, often with Ingrid Bergmann at the wheel.
The coachwork was thought to cover a sporting Ferrari chassis, inspired by the ones who raced during the last GT championship. The form is a “barchetta”, elegant but, at the same time, able to give prominence to
the 720 horse power, twelve cylinders engine.
“Emotional ergonomics” is the definition given by a great italian architect which means to plan following a technological but also stylistic approach.
